Two school friends, Akshatha and Sharan Hosamani, grew up sharing lunch boxes, laughter, and dreams. What connected them most wasn’t just friendship — it was a shared love for home-cooked food, banana leaf meals, and the simple joy of eating together the way our grandparents once did — naturally and with gratitude.

Years later, as life took them on different paths, one conversation over tea brought back those memories.
They remembered how every meal on a banana leaf felt like a celebration — how the aroma of hot sambar mixed with steamed rice carried not just flavor, but love. They wanted others to feel that same warmth — to bring back the lost touch of desi hospitality, eco-conscious living, and authentic taste.
